Back to The Beginning!
When we started this race in 1998 the concept was to use the profits to sponsor sport promotion. We sponsored numerous radio commercials in an effort to educate the public about our sport. We reached millions of listeners as a result. The club subsequently decided that it was not in their best interests to use the profits for sport promotion and it ended the program in 2005.
Since the club is no longer sponsoring the race, I will produce the
race and use the profits to once again commence Sport Promotion
on AM talk Radio which is the best arena for our dollars. We continue to pledge complete financial reports and complete accurate race results to each fancier.
